This video is a little different. Sorry for the scuffed audio. I was interesting in expressing my hopes for Classic WoW as well as how I got started playing Blizzard games and World of Warcraft. Feel free to share your story below!
I hope you all enjoy.

I loved playing the Warcraft series. I was playing Dune 2000 concurrently as well. Another great game. Will you be trying Warcraft 3 Reforged? I will for sure. Great video btw it's nice to hear how you got started into WOW. I don't remember how I ended up playing Warcraft. I was 13 when it released and was using AOL to find out about new games. I begged my parents to buy me every new PC game that came out and I usually got a lot of them. The Warcraft series was by far my favorite and I would always come back to it after playing new games. By the time World of Warcraft released I was 22 and working at a Applebee's. I was mostly playing on consoles and I never saw any WOW trailers prior to it's release. One of the cooks who I talked games with told me about WOW and that it had just came out. I immediately bought it. As soon as I sat down to play and watched the intro cinematics I got goosebumps. It was my childhood game but it had came to life! That was the best feeling to see something I had cherished so much transform into this whole new expansive world. I feel in love with it and connected deeply with my characters that I created. I was so obsessed with the game I talked my mother into taking me to Blizzcon in Anaheim, California in 2005. I live in Arkansas so this wasn't a day trip. lol I got my mother and brother addicted to the game as well, and we played consistently until I had my first child in July 2006. After that I slowly stopped playing as much but kept my sub active and would steal game time whenever I could. After Cataclysm I played a lot and even got my son playing the game as he was a bit older. I sort of passed the torch onto him and stopped playing after a while. Then I would only come back when an expansion released, play for several months then stop again. The game never seemed to be the same and with every expansion I have lost more and more interest. Everything became so different and I can't enjoy the game. I haven't even bought Battle for Azeroth. I am not too concerned with the details of how Blizzard implements Classic. I just want the old play style back. No phasing players, level scaling, instant groups, simple talent system, etc. I like games to be a challenge. Even if that means I may never get to end game content. I hope they don't screw this up because if they do then I will be done with WOW which is really sad.
@Nephretiri I love your story. Sadly mines nothing like that. I saw a buddy play in high school, and didnt think anything about it. We ended up being college roomies and he ended up getting sucked in the game and failing out. Well I started playing it and it happened to me too. I have been playing off and on ever since. What part of Arkansas do you live in? I love in AR too
@Reconsniper Thanks! It's crazy how the game consumed so many people. I actually had a boyfriend of 4 years at the time when I started playing it. He got addicted to the game, ended up quitting his job and just played WOW all day. I picked up a second job to keep us afloat and then kicked him out. Crazy times! lol I live in Hindsville. Moved here from Bentonville a little over a year ago. Where are you at?
@Nephretiri I never had the fortune of dating another gamer. Quite depressing to be honest. But I digress, I actually am in Searcy for the time being. I work in cabot and my wife works in batesville. Commute sucks BALLS
@Nephretiri Thank you for commenting. I loved learning a little bit of your back story as well. I know that classic wow release will be good and I cant wait to feel the same again. Current wow just feels like a shadow of what it used to be.
@Reconsniper Also sorry I didnt get back to you sooner I am still getting used to the forums lol
