Is raiding as NS Ele a thing?

I get that it will never be accepted into hardcore guilds who need shamans for mana tide but I was just wondering if it even was on the spectrum to kinda off heal/ off dps as Nature swiftness ele in a raid environment?

Could be fun! I want to try it at some point for sure. Gotta weigh if I want those big, fat windfury crits or those heavy ropes of chainlightning. God I love being a shaman.
