BEFORE THE STORM - A cinematic film dedicated to Classic World of Warcraft that features a mix of handcrafted scenes, gameplay clips and more as players prepare to step back into the past and begin the journey once more.

The BTS Project is a significant milestone when it comes to the channel and the idea of doing a PVP based project has always been on my mind but I wanted to go a bit further and explore doing more based on the experience I've gained from my prior Classic Boss Guide Projects.

It's the story of two Warriors dueling in a barren wasteland filled with the dying remnants of their armies wrapped around years of PVP gameplay clips featuring one of the leading North American guilds - Scuba Cops - wrapped around a tribute project dedicated to the dozens of developers and thousands of players that kept the dream alive.

During Vanilla every class received significant re-works to their spells, abilities and talents throughout each patch and all the way up to 1.12 before TBC ushered in a massive overhaul that changed everything forever.

Some classes received more polish than others and this can be seen with odd talents, under-utilized abilities or class specializations in the form of hybrids that wouldn't get a lot of love until future expansions.

Because Classic will be forever frozen with these final changes in Patch 1.12 - which class in your opinion had the most "complete" all-around package and which was doomed to wait until TBC/WOTLK for better days?

Private servers have been around for a long time and they've made significant progress in attempting to emulate the original experience and even today you still see active development on various projects across the community.

However despite many of these improvements which eventually led to the wild success of Nostalrius which proved to be a water shed moment for Classic fans - at the end of the day it's still a emulation of the original game and not a perfect 1:1 snapshot.

Current and past projects like Nostalrius have come close in some ways in re-creating the original game but have been way off in other areas and the recent Blizzard update touched base on this a little bit (though it mainly revolved around player's memories of the past)
